PAT Testing
PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) is an important part of any health and safety policy, and regulations which states employers have a legal responsibility to all employees and self-employed persons to take reasonable steps to ensure their safety when using electrical equipment.
We offer a PAT test with certificate at £5 per item. Discounts apply for 10 items or more. We'll PAT test your equipment for FREE if its in for repair or servicing.
The frequency of inspection and testing depends upon the type of equipment and the environment it is used in. For example, a power tool used on a construction site should be examined more frequently than a table or bedside lamp in a hotel bedroom. For guidance on suggested frequencies of inspection and testing, have a look at the following HSE documents:
